The restaurant was named one of America’s Best New Restaurants by GQ, Southern Living, and Bon Appétit, and earned a James Beard Foundation Best New Restaurant semifinalist nomination. Ticer and Hudman were also recognized as James Beard Award semifinalists for Best Chef: Southeast for three consecutive years (2012–2014) and finalists for the award from 2015–2019. In 2013, they were named Food & Wine Best New Chefs and were later honored as StarChefs Rising Star Chefs.
Catherine & Mary’s opened in Downtown Memphis in 2016, bringing together the chefs’ Sicilian heritage, grandmother-inspired cooking, and deep love of the Italian philosophy of dining.

Continuing their growth, Josephine Estelle and Rosie’s Room will open in Germantown, Tennessee in 2026, further expanding the group’s commitment to to community-driven, chef-led hospitality in the Mid-South.
